I don't know if I am missing something, but can a user embed a customized word list? The Widget (which is really great) includes the entire word collection.

nikappi, currently a user can create as many customized word lists in the Study Room as he likes. But it is not yet possible for the user to embed a customized list in the form of a widget. However, we are actively working to give users an option to 'Share' the word lists they have created. It will not be the same as embedding, but you will be able to share your customized word lists with your friends, colleagues or students.
Also, id like to clarify one more thing: WordAhead Widget has videos for only 50 words, and our site currently features videos and Flash cards for more than 660 words.
Id like to suggest that please try your hand at creating a few word lists in the Study Room and see how it works for you so far.
Do leave a message again if you have any more questions or comments.
Thanks!

For nikappi and all our users at WordAhead, there is an update that now it is possible to create and embed a custom word list widget in your blog or website! Here are the instructions:

1. Please create a custom list with name My Widget using your account (yes! the name has to be My Widget ) and save the list.
2. In the embed code (given below) please replace "username=wordahead" (which is in two places) with "username=<your own user name>"
3. Place the embed code in your blog and it will start showing words in your 'My Widget' list

You can add or delete words to your 'My Widget' list in the WordAhead Study Room any time and your embedded widget will be updated automatically.

--------- embed code -------
<object height="398" width="537" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/swflash.cab" id="WAFlexAppWidget">
<p> </p>
<param value="http://ws.wordahead.com/WAFlexAppWidget.swf" name="movie" />
<param value="high" name="quality" />
<param value="#fbf6e1" name="bgcolor" />
<param name="FlashVars" value="userName=wordahead" />
<param value="always" name="allowScriptAccess" />
<embed height="398" align="middle" width="537" bgcolor="#fbf6e1"
flashvars="userName=wordahead" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://ws.wordahead.com/WAFlexAppWidget.swf"
--------end embed code ------

These instructions will also be available on our website in the special section for Teachers very soon.
The customized widget enables teachers to create their own word lists according to the level of their students and embed the lists in their Class blogs or wikis for classroom use.
We hope this will facilitate vocabulary building for students and educators alike!
